Luxury & Convenience

Experience luxury and convenience at our exclusive doggy daycare. Our purpose-built facilities feature secure paddocks, a sensory courtyard, indoor play areas, and a dedicated day care lounge. Your furry friend will enjoy daily varied sessions and individual enrichment time.

Small Groups

Our small groups ensure that your dog can socialise with like-minded companions who share their energy and enthusiasm. We carefully select guests based on age, size, and temperament to create a harmonious environment. Each group follows a tailored daily program that meets their specific needs.

Basic Training

At our daycare, we prioritise proper behavior and manners. We aim to set your dog up for success, using positive reinforcement and healthy treats to encourage good behavior.

Rest assured, we make sure that every guest undergoes a behavior assessment to ensure their suitability for group activities. We also support socialisation during the four step trial process to ensure a smooth transition into the group setting.

Join us at our esteemed doggy daycare, where luxury, socialisation, and professional care come together for an exceptional experience for both you and your beloved companion.

Mental Enrichment

Day care isn’t all about physical exercise and socialisation with other dogs. Mental enrichment is provided with supervised food and treat finding in quality Snuffle Matts, LickiMats, slow feeders and genius interactive toys. Rubber Kongs are stuffed with a tasty pate, soft cheese or grain-free soaked treat kibble and in hot weather are pre frozen when we also offer Marshfield Dog Ice Cream ‘Scoops’ (at an extra cost).

Treats

We use high welfare treats and local British companies, the dog ice cream is made just a few miles from here. We advocate healthy, natural chews and have a selection of pigs ears and rabbits ears available as well as Green and Wilds antler chews and chew roots which can also be purchased.

Downtime

Downtime takes place at lunchtime where all dogs chill out on one of our comfortable raised orthopaedic beds, in individual heated rest areas with luxury microfibre noodle matts on the floor.

Relaxing classical music is played and all of the dogs have an undisturbed lunchtime nap, which is much needed after their busy morning of activities and is essential in ensuring that dogs don’t become over stimulated or over socialised and remain happy at day care in the long term.

Security

At our esteemed doggy daycare, safety and fun go hand in paw. We prioritise the well-being of our furry guests by ensuring they stay within our secure premises, encompassed by 8-foot high fences. With no public footpaths on site, you can rest assured that your cherished companion won’t encounter unfamiliar or unvaccinated dogs. This peace of mind allows you to go about your day, knowing your dog is in capable hands.

Puppies

Puppies as young as 12 weeks old can join in the daycare adventure, provided they have completed their vaccinations as per our terms and conditions. We strictly adhere to Wiltshire Council’s licensing requirements, maintaining a high standard of animal welfare. In a serene environment designed to prevent overstimulation, we assist with house training and offer gentle, tailored puppy socialisation throughout the day. As they develop, we gradually introduce them to our other daycare facilities, starting with short introductions and half days, before progressing to full days when they are ready.

Vaccinations & Treatments

To attend our daycare, dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Following the administration of the annual kennel cough booster, alternative arrangements should be made for the following 14 days to comply with Wiltshire Council’s licensing conditions. Regular flea, tick, and worm treatments are essential, and we kindly request that topical flea treatments are not applied immediately prior to arrival to prevent contact with other dogs.

Meals

Owners are responsible for providing their dog’s food. We strive to maintain their feeding routine by offering up to four meals per day, if desired. Bringing their usual food minimises the risk of dietary upset or loss of appetite. We provide airtight storage for kibble and refrigeration and freezer facilities for wet and raw food. At Fern Farm, we encourage a healthy diet and offer a discount on our range of food to our valued members. Additionally, we happily administer medication and raw food at no extra cost.

Arrange A Day Care or Puppy School Trial

The first step to becoming a valued member of the Fern Farm family is to book a Discovery Call. In this 30-minute call, we’ll explore your dog’s individual needs and preferences, ensuring we can provide the best services—whether it’s puppy school, daycare, or boarding. This is your chance to ask questions, understand our trial process, and learn how we can work together for your dog’s well-being.

Before you book your discovery call, we want to emphasise how essential this step is in our process. During this 30-minute call, we’ll dive deep into understanding your dog’s unique needs and personality, allowing us to tailor our services—whether it’s puppy school, daycare, or boarding—to best suit you and your furry friend. It is important to us you get a clear picture of how we operate. We’re committed to establishing the right fit for both you and your dog, ensuring a positive and enriching experience.

Please complete a Trial Application Form to start the process. Assessments are done by our Senior Handlers Monday- Friday by arrangement only.

Our policy states that your dog is up to date with the annual boosters but having the Kennel Cough vaccine is not essential. If you choose to have this it must be at least 2 weeks before using our services. Vaccination card is required on appointment.
